Andrew “Dru Phoenix” Cuthbert is a South Florida Native, Marine Veteran, and Black Belt Head Instructor of A&M Jiu-Jitsu.
After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, Dru overcame an ACL reconstruction, and earned his Black Belt in 10 years under AJ Sousa and Kini Grandinho Cole.

Currently, Dru is an active competitor and co-owner of A&M Jiu-Jitsu along side his business partner and cousin, Devin.
The two are working to provide the best training environment possible and maintaining the spirit of continued growth, while having fun.

Michael Isler is our head coach for the youth program at A&M. He began his own martial arts training at the age of 16 in Hapkido, a Korean version of Jiu-Jitsu. He earned his black belt in Hapkido in 2005 and his second black belt in hapkiyoosul (Korean Jiu-jitsu) in 2014. He is ranked as an Instructor in Hapkido. He also began training i

He also began training in BJJ in 2009 and currently holds a Brown belt in BJJ .
His philosophy is that martial arts is not just a combative sport or activity, but also a way of life. He uses his teachings and the practice of Jiu-Jitsu as a method for helping inspire children to become the best versions of themselves possible.
